About Roxann Henze...

As president of Henze Communications, marketing and PR expert Roxann Henze brings over ten years experience in developing communication strategies for the business and nonprofit worlds. She founded her business, Henze Communications in December 2004. This private consulting practice specializes in helping organizations differentiate themselves from their competitors through strategic communications. 

Through it, she has

  • Generated media coverage for SkyLink USA, an aviation services company and for Leesburg’s Downtown Improvement Association
  • Attracted crowds to Leesburg Crossroads’ events—attendance at “Acoustic on the Green” rose by 30 percent and the “Fall into the Arts” festival increased tenfold under her direction
  • Written, edited and improved functionality for the Virginia Tech Executive MBA program’s Web site; and managed the creation and content development for SkyLink USA’s and Innovative Analytics & Training new Web sites

Roxann also served as manager of marketing & communications for Leadership Fairfax in Vienna, Va., from May 2005 to September 2007. Previously, she managed marketing communications for Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, The George Washington University’s (GW) Executive MBA program and GW’s Virginia Campus Office of Corporate and Community Relations (March 1998 to May 2004).

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a marketing concentration, from George Mason University and a public relations certificate from the University of Virginia. A member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA), Roxann has held communications-related leadership positions on the Loudoun Arts Council board, the American Marketing Association D.C. Chapter board and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce's Marketing and Communications Committee.
